Pricing that follows model costs, not the other way around
Model API costs vary by orders of magnitude. Our pricing has to reflect that honestly — here's how we're thinking about it.
A short message to a small model can cost a fraction of a cent. A long thread with a frontier model can cost dollars. Any honest pricing has to reflect that spread.
So Relay's plans are usage-aware by design: a free tier for everyday use, and paid tiers that scale with how much model you actually consume.
Bring your own key if you'd rather pay providers directly — your usage then never touches our bill at all.
No surprise charges. The meter follows the models, not the other way around.
